1. Le Grande Metairie

If you would like to take a holiday in the Côte d’Azur area, a good option would be Campsite Holiday Green in Fréjus in this region.
This campsite is set among acres of pine forest and is one of the higher-standard venues at which you can stay.
Similar to many of the top sites in France, the facilities are excellent and entertainment can be found on-site.
The beaches are a quarter of an hour’s drive but you do also have some entertainment with the campsite including tennis courts, mini-golf and some shows in the evenings.
3. Les Ormes in St. Étienne de Villarreal
Les Ormes in St. Étienne de Villarreal is an elegant campsite where comfort is the norm.
This campsite is located among vineyards and castles and is a great place for a camping vacation.

4. Le Bois du Valmarie
If you prefer a campsite near the sea, schedule a trip to the Languedoc area. Le Bois du Valmarie is on the coast, and the breathtaking views alone will make your holiday here special.
Very convenient if you are able to fly into Perpignan Airport and even though the site is relatively small, this is a great base if you want somewhere not too hectic and for exploring the local area.

If mountains are your scenery of choice, head for the Pyrenees and Les Tilleuls in Gèdre.
This camp in the mountains is an attractive location with stunning views, it boasts ancient houses made of stone and immense gorges that are a sight worth seeing.
