Naturism as a form of travel is constantly growing as it becomes accepted on a wider scale around the world.

And with this interest comes the question from many people of how to adapt their holiday packing for naturist travel as opposed to a textile holiday.

Below a look at 5 Travel accessories naturist s should consider including.

Baseball cap

On a naturist beach, the two items of clothing you still might want are a baseball (or another hat) and a pair of flip-flops.

That is the only clothing you are likely to need.

Well, you might want to also have a towel for drying off after a dip in the water, but otherwise, this is all you are likely to need!

A baseball cap is a useful accessory for the naturist on a sunny day as it helps to keep the sun out of one’s eyes and enhance the comfort levels.

It is also handy to carry around belongings if you have nowhere else to put them. You might also want to consider, for example, wearing a special “

Cap dAgde Pro Freestyle” baseball cap to identify yourself as a reader of this site.

This cap will be on sale soon in our shop. This cap will be an excuse to meet and greet fellow naturists as you walk around Cap d’Agde.

A good excuse to say hello to others.

Sunglasses

When the sun is strong it can become uncomfortable to be outside after a while.

A pair of sunglasses can keep the sun out of your eyes, which will decrease the amount of squinting you will do as well as the associated headaches. With those wandering eyes, protect the eyes.

Sun Umbrella

An umbrella can be useful not only for its intended purpose of keeping the rain from you but also for being used as a sunblock.

By positioning properly on the floor you can create a small amount of shade under which to lie.

On some beaches, the umbrella can also be invaluable for protecting against the sand when the wind picks up. This has helped me a lot some summers in Cap d’Agde.

Sun cream and After Sun

For anyone who spends a lot of time exposed to the skin, sun cream is essential to limit the damage of the sun on one’s skin.

This is especially the case for nudists as they are exposing their entire body.

Applying after sun to the skin once it has been exposed to the sun will help to limit associated damage.

Nudists expose areas of the body which do not see much sun and are more susceptible to damage.

Waterproof Holder

You can buy a waterproof container that holds cigarettes, lighter and money and which hangs around your neck and is completely waterproof.

These holders only cost three or four Euros and can be an essential item if you, for example, wish to carry money as you walk along the beach (in case you want to buy an ice cream or stop at one of the beach bars) or if you attend a foam party and what to carry your cigarettes and lighter.

What items would you include? Feel free to add your comments on the items you feel are essential.
