Or travel to the medieval city of Carcassonne to the west.

Only a five-hour TGV train ride and you can also find yourself in Paris, France, and visit the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower.

A couple of hours south-west from Agde and you will find yourself in Barcelona, Spain.
